Great!, I am coming back to my blog after some weeks of absence, unfortunately it is becoming a custom

Some weeks ago I released the new INVEMAR’s WAP Site, which is the first module of new Content Management System project, it was developed using Oracle, JSP, Servlets, CSS, Javascript (Mootols) and lot of imagination.

About WAP Site’s Back-End

This module was a very interesing project.  It gets information from the same database used for the CMS, which means that the same information published in the web site is displayed on the WAP Site, it makes it possible to have an updated and consistent site for mobile devices.

An interesting characteristic of this administration module is that everything that is currently being displayed on the WAP Site have been totally configured before through back-end, it means that it is necesary to set the content for header, footer, categories, subcategories, content, etc. , in simple words INVEMAR’s WAP Site is a real white canvas which must be colored through its CMS.  Next image illustrates it better.

As everything is configured in back-end, there could be any kind of pages (because you configure the way you want a specific page to be displayed), so there could not be a template for every kind (trying to do such a thing could make anybody crazy), but just one and it is the main page, yes a simple index.jsp which routes all the information provided for visitor to a renderization module which consists in many related clases which are in charge of retrieving data from database, adding styles, organizing header, content, links, footer, among others, … to finally return a well-formed XHTML to be displayed on visitor’s mobile browser (see image above).

Ok, that is, in some words, what I have done to make the WAP project to become true, now I have too many other things to create and little time to get them.

Since I was a child, a small small small one, his music drew my attention, for me his voice was unique, I used to think that there could not be something equal or at least similar in the world.  His particular and perfectionist style of doing things made every production to be successful.  He is the only artist the entire world knows and it was possible thanks to his great talent, inteligence, originality and genius.

Above his personal problems (I think he was getting crazy), it is undeniable that he changed the way to create music, he was a milestone in the music world, he divided the music history.

I felt sad yesterday when I heard the news, today I would like it to be a heavy joke from a man who has lost reason.  I have to say it is not because Michael Jackson at all but because what he created and what he could has created after his return to the stage.

You has left us with the wish of seeing you dancing and singing again.

Human race will never forget you, your music will remain forever in the minds and playlists of good music lovers.

INVEMAR has its own Content Management System, now it is time to develop a new version of that, and that is my new target.

This task has so many interesting things to do, starting from the graphic desing, user profiles, new modules, upgrading and improvement of existing modules, among others.

Today I have been working in the new User Profile schema (there was a very basic one), during morning I was drawing data base tables and relationships (entity-relationship model, the small one necesary for the module).  They were seven tables in total and now I am ready to start developing related classes and interfaces.  I have many ideas in my head, I want to use a nice implementation of MVC (Model View Controler) wheter it is one of my own or one of them you find in the web (Struts, JSF, etc). The point is that I want to do a better thing than the last project, thats the idea when you start something new, do things better, and better, and improve, LEARNING, that is the goal.

So, I am very excited with this, I am working in this project with Oracle, Java, JSP, AJAX (Javascript frameworks).

Today it is a special day because I have been six month working at INVEMAR, so I am very happpyyyyyyy.

This picture has been around my gallery since some days ago, but I decided to post it when I reach the “post day”, naaaa I mean when I finally catch up.

I love colors in this picture, it is just beautiful, if you watch picture you will note that there is a piece of wood back of its head that makes the horse to seems an unicorne (it was my sister conclusion after she watched the picture, I just agreed).

Today I have decided I will resume day activities in each post (yes, with pictures too), not just post pictures, so I will fill the everyday’s 15 minutes for my blog.  So it is going to be more than a photoblog, I want it to turn into a photolifeblog or something like that (sounds weird, does not it?).

Welcome to my new Biktor’s land.

I used to be hosted by Waterseven, I really loved the project and wanted to be with them for a lot of time, however a very hard to solve problem had made my site to be offline for more than one month, it could not be a problem for me before but new things have arrived and have happend in my life and I felt the need to have my site online as soon as possible, so I decided to get a paid host and start again my website.

I started in english, I will continue doing it in that way (I am not a professional english writter, but with little time and practice sure I will become one).

You will find personal and professional notes and the every day picture too.

So, here start again biktor.info and I will work to make it real.
